Originating in the Mediterranean, Milk Thistle has made its way around the world and can even be found right here on Long Island. At Open Minded Organics we work with high quality organic ground Milk Thistle Seed extracted in ethanol, vegetable glycerin and filtered water. While commonly you will find products made from primarily seed, being the localists we are, we also love to incorporate wildcrafted Milk Thistle in our formulation when we can!

Milk Thistle seed is one of the first herbs we think of when we think of our liver. It has a long historical use by cultures all over to support and engage the bodies primary detoxifying systems. Being energetically neutral it pairs up wonderfully with either of our Pau d’Arco or Turmeric supplements!
